Nail Training
An intense course and has been designed to give you the knowledge and practice needed to acquire your certificate and insurance after the second day. If you have no confidence in how to file your nails and apply nail polish then it may be worthwhile attending a course at your local college for basic manicure. If this has to be taught during the course it takes up valuable time that can be better used in perfecting
the art of nail enhancements.
The course will consist of two consecutive days training. (Usually a Sunday & Monday). This will be followed by an examination that will be marked and upon completion of 5 sets of nails, (which we require to be clear; before & after photographs of all sets) A further 4 hours training will take place two weeks later where you will have to do a set
of infills.
A certificate will be provided to enable you to apply for your Public Liability Insurance from The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapist or professional Beauty. This is essential that you are in possession of this if you are planning to offer nail enhancements as a service or you are intending to become a Nail Technician.
You should also understand that it is essential to practice your new skills. Until you have your certificate you will not be covered by insurance. You will only be able to charge a nominal fee for nails until you are properly qualified and insured.
